LBsoft ("we", "us", or "our") built LB Inspect as a productivity application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

LB Inspect is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data created by the app (documents, photos, videos, voice recordings) is stored locally on your device in the Documents/LB_Inspect folder.

2. Permissions & How They Are Used

The app requests the following device permissions, all of which are used solely for on-device functionality:

• Camera — To capture inspection photos and record videos. Images and videos are saved locally on your device only.
• Microphone — To record voice notes that are inserted into inspection reports. Audio is stored locally and never transmitted.
• Location — To embed GPS coordinates and a map snapshot in your inspection reports when you choose to add location data. Location is accessed only on demand and is not tracked or stored beyond the report.
• Storage / Files — To create, read, and manage inspection report files (.docx), photos, and videos in the shared Documents folder, allowing you to access them from file managers and other apps.
• Internet — Used solely to download map images for GPS location embedding and to open web links you insert into reports. No personal data is sent over the network.

3. Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not operate any servers, cloud storage, or analytics services. Your inspection reports, photos, videos, and recordings remain entirely under your control.

4. Third-Party Services & On-Device Processing

LB Inspect performs all scanning and location processing on your device. Depending on your platform, the app uses the operating system's built-in frameworks:

• iOS: Apple VisionKit and AVFoundation (document and barcode/QR scanning), and Core Location with MapKit (GPS coordinates and map snapshots).
• Android: Google ML Kit (document and barcode/QR scanning) and Google Play Services Location (GPS coordinates). Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

These frameworks process data on-device. LB Inspect itself does not send your content to us or any third party beyond what is required for the specific feature you initiate. Subscriptions are processed by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play); we never receive your payment details.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. When you use the "Share Report" feature, the app invokes your device's standard sharing mechanism — the data is sent only to the app or contact you choose.

6. Children's Privacy

LB Inspect is a professional productivity tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
